Lands

The mission of the Lands management program is to serve the Nation in lands acquisition, environmental site assessments and preservation, restoration and inventorying all of the Nation’s lands.  The Nation’s lands are preserved through a variety of programs within the lands division.

The Lands Specialists work cooperatively with Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (WDNR), Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA), Department of Transportation (WDOT), and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) to name a few.  The Lands Specialists also work with other Tribal organizations to ensure that cultural and natural resources and endangered species are preserved and managed appropriately.
