HOUSING & PUBLIC WORKS
Assist with Down Payment Assistance and Emergency Home Repairs for tribal members. Inspectors conduct inspection of homes to insure homes meet building and safety standards in accordance with the Nation's laws as well as the Wisconsin State Building Codes. Provide community assistance and services to tribal members.
HOME OWNERSHIP PROGRAM
Provides tribal members with the opportunity for home ownership through new construction, existing home purchase, or refinancing of their home; assists and co-ordinates the project with the tribal member and their contractors, financial institutions, and other government agencies; in addition, assists the tribal member with Down Payment Assistance for home purchases.
PROPERTY MANAGEMENT
Maintains and operates the tribal rental housing properties at an affordable rent for the Ho-Chunk Nation membership that are located in the various districts of the Nation and to maintain safe, decent and comfortable living quarters. Reviews and enforces the tribe's housing rental policy as established.
PUBLIC UTILITIES
Maintain the Nations water supply through the tribal water plant facilities located in the various districts in accordance with Ho-Chunk Nation laws and standards. The goal is to provide safe and reliable drinking water to tribal members, programs and enterprises.

B.I.A. ROADS
Assist in the planning and development of roads; follow through on actual road construction and maintenance to the Nation's BIA Road inventory. The goal is to provide safe, drivable maintained roadways that are clear of sand, water, ice, and other debris.
