MISSION ... The Ho-Chunk Department of Personnel shall administer timely, equitable, and high-quality human resource services to the Nation and its employees.  In doing so, the Department shall safeguard the interests of the Nation, enhance the soveriegnty of the Nation, and excercise stewardship over those resources committed to it by the Nation and foreign jursidictions.

SERVICES ... The Department of Personnel is comprised of two divisions; (1) Personnel Management and (2) Insurance.  Each division offers a number of services.

The division of Personnel Management handles such things as the processing of employee transactions during the life of employment, investigations into alleged harrassment and misconduct, grievance review, and the employee assistance program.

The division of Insurance handles such things as employee insurance plans, elder insurance plans, property and casualty for the Nations assets.

There are also a number of Boards that report to the Department of Personnel.  Such boards include, but are not limited to, (1) Personnel Advisory Board, (2) Grievance Review Board, and (3) Ho-Chunk Insurance Review Commission.
