All companies that are submitting a proposal to do work on or near Ho-Chunk Lands should have an updated TERO Registration form on file with the TERO Office. If you are submitting a proposal to the Ho-Chunk Nation, you must obtain a Bid Permit in order to have your proposal considered for award. The fee for a Bid Permit is established by the Ho-Chunk Nation TERO Commission and there are no exceptions for this fee. The Bid Permit Fee has been set at the following levels:

A Construction Permit must be obtained by the sucessful bidder prior to the start of work. The fee established for a Construction Permit is 2% of the total contract amount. The TERO Ordinance proivdes for very few exemptions from this fee and  no exemptions to any other provisions of the Ordianance. If you believe you may qualify for an exemption, please contact Joshua Smith or Nicholas Kedrowski at the Ho-Chunk Nation TERO Office for verification. Exemptions from TERO Fees will be noted directly on the Construction Permit at the time of Approval.

All fees must be submitted directly to the Ho-Chunk TERO Office, checks are to be made payable to: Ho-Chunk TERO and should include an identifier in the memo section indicating if the check is for a bid permit or for a Construction Permit.

Bid Permit and Construction Permit Applications are available from the Ho-Chunk Nation TERO Investigator and Director in electronic formats that may be completed and returned without printing.
